Description

We are looking to hire a Lead HVAC Service Technician to support our growing commercial and industrial HVAC Service activities who meet the following criteria.
 

  • Fifteen (15) years minimum overall HVAC experience.
  • Five (5) years of experience in a heavy commercial or industrial setting.
  • Advanced diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair skills.
  • Chiller experience is desired.


Job Summary: The Lead HVAC Service Technician will work in and help to oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in commercial and industrial settings. This role requires a strong technical background, leadership skills, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service. The Lead Technician will mentor other service technicians, ensure compliance with safety standards, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the HVAC team.  You will service both standard HVAC systems and chillers in a commercial and/or industrial setting.  You will also walk-down and create work estimation for bids and quotes.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum fifteen (15) years of HVAC experience with some chiller knowledge and experience desired.
  • Ability to work full-time Monday – Friday including some overtime.
  • Ability to occasionally fulfill an on-call schedule.
  • Must be able to pass drug test (alcohol, urine, and hair-follicle) including pre-hire, annual, for-cause, and random testing.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and motor vehicle record check.
  • Must be able to complete and pass all safety training.
  • EPA Card.
  • TWIC Card. (If you do not possess a TWIC Card, you must apply for one immediately upon hire)


Pay & Technician Level

  • $48 - $53+ per hour, commensurate with experience.
  • Benefits 100% paid by the company with no added deduction for spouse or children (excluded policy deductibles).
  • Prior union membership is not required – you will be required to join and we will help with the process.  Journeyman level is required.


Job type

  • Full-time.
  • Monday – Friday.
  • Occasional overtime.
  • Occasional on-call.


Service Area

  • Primarily, the greater Houston metro-area. We also serve the Galveston, Baytown, Conroe, Freeport, and Bay City areas.
